"I completed high school in Vietnam and a Bachelor degree in Germany. I chose to do my Masters and PhD at Victoria University because I knew that the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Marketing is one of the best places for tourism education. I now have a lectureship in Tourism Management.
I'm very pleased that I'm a part of VU, one of the most culturally diverse universities. As an international student, I got a lot of support from staff who understand cultural differences and encourage students to think creatively and innovatively, and to work independently.
Another great thing at VU is its strong strategic links between teaching, training and industry. When students finish their study here they have up-to-date skills that allow them to join the workforce immediately. Many of my students have been getting jobs even before they graduate."
