Victoria University

Why VU?
Victoria University is a young and dynamic hub of ideas and energy.
VU was established in 1990 when a collection of individual institutions, some dating back to 1916, joined forces under one name. Over 45000 students, including international students from over 100 countries, now study at VU. Approximately 3000 international students study in Melbourne each year. Another 4000 take part in one of our many offshore programs around the world.
Central location
Three of our 11 campuses are located in the heart of the city of Melbourne and another six campuses are within 10 kilometres of the CBD. All campuses can be accessed easily by public transport.
Pathways
Many of our diploma courses within our Vocational Education faculties allow students to progress with credit into a bachelor degree at VU. For example, on completion of a two semester Diploma of Business course, students will receive up to eight subject exemptions towards a Bachelor of Business degree.
