The Faculty of Economics and Business is one of the most significant centres of education in business, economics and political science in the Asia-Pacific region, with strong links to the international business community.

The Faculty has achieved accreditation of its business and accounting programs by the premier international accrediting body, AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and also by EQUIS (the European Quality Improvement Scheme). The University of Sydney is the only university in Australia with all three.
