Undergraduate programs

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice) program combines tertiary studies and paid experience with IBM®, allowing you to learn about exciting developments in IT, and gain significant experience.

The Bachelor of Information Technology program is less mathematically oriented, and specialised in areas such as Internet and multimedia.

The Bachelor of Business Information Systems focuses on E-commerce and internet technology. A combined degree with the Bachelor of Management is also offered.

The Bachelor of Applied Computing (Games Technologies) is an exciting new course at the forefront of computer games development. Other specialisations in the Bachelor of Applied Computing are Data Mining, Statistics, Mathematics and Optimization. A combined degree with the Bachelor of Education is also offered.

Postgraduate Coursework programs

The Master of Information Technology Management is a four semester course, for graduates with a major in computing or information technology, aspiring to be IT managers and requiring an understanding of the strategic management of IT resources.

The following courses are designed for people with a Bachelor degree in an area other than computing or IT, who wish to become IT professionals:

The Master of Information Technology is a four semester course.
The Master of Information Technology Studies and Master of Business Administration is a five semester course.
The Master of Information Systems is a four semester course.
The Master of Information Systems (e-Commerce Security) is a four semester course.

The Master of Information Technology (by Research) is a 2 year program for people with a major in Information Technology

The Master of Mathematical Sciences (by Research) is a 2 year program for people with a major in mathematics.

The Doctor of Philosophy is a 3 year degree offered in the areas of ICT and mathematics.

The Doctor of Information Technology is a 3 year professional doctoral degree.
