For more than 100 years, TAFE NSW has been a leading public provider of vocational training in Australia. Currently there are over 400,000 local and international students enrolled at 120 campuses across New South Wales.

There are 10 TAFE NSW Institutes across Sydney and New South Wales. Class sizes are small with an average 1:15 teacher - student ratio so you get expert attention from our university and industry qualified staff. Laboratories, commercial kitchens, hairdressing salons, child care centres, health and fitness gymnasiums, modern libraries and information technology centres on campus provide you with state-of-the-art resources in simulated work environments.

Certificate to Advanced Diploma and Diploma-to-Degree Courses

A wide variety of study options are available from certificate courses to advanced diplomas. All courses are industry endorsed, internationally recognised and taught by industry experts.

Many courses have established university pathways. TAFE NSW Diploma-to-Degree (D2D) programs with the University of Western Sydney and University of Technology Sydney provide for credit transfer to university studies.

D2D students graduate with two reputable qualifications: a TAFE NSW diploma and a bachelor degree.

English Language Courses

Intensive English language courses at TAFE NSW English Language Centres improve your English language skills and prepare you for TAFE and university studies. Centres are government-owned and guarantee high quality education by expert teachers in small classes. Students have access to exceptional resources including self-study areas, library and language laboratories.

We can package English language and TAFE NSW courses together so you can study both courses on one visa.

Academic

  • Year 12 or equivalent

  • Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate

  • GCE A-levels

English

  • IELTS 5.5 (academic) for vocational courses

  • IELTS 6.0 (academic) for Diploma-to-Degree courses
