Student name: Tsui Yu Kit (Damien) Damien began his time at Swinburne with a Foundation studies (Design) program which is designed to prepare international students for further study in Australia. He found it extremely useful, stating that "we need to learn and understand all the basics to continue our studies. The Foundation course instructed me in the correct way of thinking, and now I find that it's easier to learn and understand the new knowledge in my Bachelor degree".
Swinburne's Foundation and Unilink (Degree Transfer) Programs are designed to prepare you for further study in Australia and provide guaranteed entry into selected Swinburne undergraduate programs. They are a cost-effective option that are ideal if you have not yet achieved the requirements for direct entry to a Bachelor degree; wish to complete your year 12 studies in a University environment; or prefer the advantages of small class sizes, greater contact hours and more individual attention from your teachers. Damien is learning more about design every day in his Bachelor of Design (Communication Design). He said "This course is helping me realise more about design, helping me to establish the foundation for my future. I chose Communication Design because becoming a designer and working for the community is one of my dreams." |
