Our staff are fully qualified and Diploma and Pre-Master programs are taught by lecturers approved by University of South Australia (UniSA). We offer Diploma programs in Business and Commerce, Computing and Information Technology, and Media and Communication which are equivalent to first year of Bachelor degree programs at UniSA. We also offer Degree Transfer programs in Engineering and Construction Management which provide a pathway for you to enter semester two of first year of the Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics programs. Our Pre-Master program in Information Technology offers an excellent pathway to UniSA’s Master of Information Technology and Master of Information and Communications Technology Management. You are able to attain either of these Masters degrees in two years.
SAIBT is located on UniSA’s City East campus in the BrookmanBuilding on North Terrace, a gracious, tree-lined, cultural and educational boulevard in the heart of the city of Adelaide. You will have full access to the modern, well-equipped teaching and library facilities and sporting and recreational amenities of UniSA.

Supporting you while you study
IBT Education scholarships and family bursary
As SAIBT is part of the IBT Education group, you may be eligible for an IBT Education scholarship or family bursary. The IBT Education group offers six full scholarships and 60 partial (50%) scholarships for university level Diploma programs or first year of Bachelor degree programs at Curtin Sydney per year. The group also offers family bursaries to immediate family members who study at our colleges.
Access to University facilities and services
Your classes will be conducted on UniSA’s City East campus and you are welcome to join in most aspects of University life, as well as have access to University cafes, library, bookshop and other facilities.

You have a choice of accommodation options including Homestay, student residences and off-campus accommodation.
Orientation
We provide you with an orientation program which provides crucial information and advice to assist you in adjusting to the living and learning environment at SAIBT.
Academic and welfare support
Academic and welfare support is offered by our Academic and Welfare Advisors. We also offer information sessions and workshops to assist you with your studies.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
As an international student, you are required to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) at all times while studying in Australia. OSHC helps minimise the costs of medical expenses incurred while you are in Australia. SAIBT will assist you to obtain OSHC.
