![]() |
Student name: Ekaterina Sorokina Ekaterina finds studying at RMIT English Worldwide an exciting experience. She notes many differences from studying in her native Russia and likes the way REW is organised in it’s teaching methods. ‘Everyday is organised perfectly. It has time for speaking, writing, reading and listening practice. Teachers always emphasize the most important points and their strategies make things easier to understand.’ Ekaterina also makes a point of taking up the many social activities that REW has to offer. This means she gets to practice her English, meet other fellow international students and have fun too! ‘RMIT has a big range of outdoor activities to practise English and find new friends. You can participate in the chess club or take part in rock climbing or find something in between. ‘After ten weeks of study at REW, I can read books and newspapers without looking at my Russian dictionary every 15 seconds. I feel more comfortable in any conversation with native English speakers than before. Now I can write essays that use correct language and good grammar. Ten weeks ago I could only dream about it and now it is my reality.’ |
