Ozford English Language Centre

Ozford is proud of the superior education we deliver in English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS).

Our English course curriculum covers all requirements, whether it’s a general English course for travel and work, a specialist English course like IELTS Preparation or an English course for preparation to advance into other education areas.

We offer the courses English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for Secondary School Preparation and English for TESOL, all designed for our students to study further in our other colleges.

Other courses available include: Business English, English for Young Learners and Study Tour programs.

Ozford College

Ozford College is a provider of senior secondary education and offers courses that cover three years of high school (Years 10, 11 and 12).

The Year 10 course is a preparation course for the last two years of study. In Year 10 the students take a common course of set subjects. At Year 11 and 12 level, students can undertake the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). The VCE at Ozford College is designed to prepare students for tertiary study at university. In Year 11 students receive guidance to help decide which subjects would best suit their chosen career path. They then continue these subjects in Year 12 ready for university.

Alternatively if students don’t wish to go to university they can study VCAL after a semester of VCE Year 11, which will lead them into the TAFE/VET sector or employment.

Ozford College of Business

Ozford College of Business is a tertiary institution providing a high level of Vocational Education and Training (VET) at advanced diploma to certificate III levels, together with short courses for international and local students.

We provide some great courses in the following areas: accounting, automotive, business, commercial cookery, hairdressing, hospitality, interpreting, IT multimedia and networking, marketing, management, patisserie, TESOL and training and assessment.

Our business college also provides students with pathways and direct entry to some of Australia’s leading universities.

Facilities

At Ozford, we provide our students with a range of technological facilities. There are computer labs at each campus together with photocopiers that students and staff can access via individual swipe cards.

Students have access to our own commercial kitchens and hairdressing salon, to provide them with practical training throughout their studies.

Ozford conveys a friendly and comfortable environment, with student common areas at
all campuses, microwaves and fridges, as well as modern and spacious classrooms. In our library you will find a quiet study area for students, a careers section and endless resources for study which are also available for loan.

Student services

At Ozford our emphasis is on providing our students with the greatest possible support. Our comprehensive student support services include:

Academic year

Depending on which college you wish to attend determines when you can begin your study at Ozford. In ELICOS we have weekly intakes. In both the High School and the Business College you can join by semester or term for some courses. Start dates are in February, May, July and October. Please see our website for more information.
