Murdoch College
Murdoch College is a unique co-educational international College, the only secondary college of its type in Australia to be located on a university campus.
Established in 2000, its location on the Murdoch University campus, one of the nation’s leading tertiary institutions, provides students with excellent educational opportunities and facilities.
The College’s multicultural population enables Australian and international students to forge friendships and cultural understandings as members of the learning community. Small class sizes, specialised teaching, modern facilities, and multi-lingual members of staff all ensure that student success is the priority.
The College is organised around a Senior College and Middle School.
The Senior College: Years 10, 11 and 12

During Years 11 and 12, much of the focus is on preparation for tertiary studies. In Year 12 students may choose to study the:

Western Australian Universities’ Foundation Program (WAUFP)
or

Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE)
Year 10 is a transition to the final two years.
Western Australian Universities’ Foundation Program (WAUFP)
Specifically designed for international students. Entry into first year of a Bachelor degree course at Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and The University of Western Australia is guaranteed to students who successfully complete the course. Some degrees have specific requirements and/or quotas. The WAUFP is accepted for entry into most universities throughout Australia. WAUFP students may select the Standard course with a January start or Accelerated, April Start.
Students study English Language and Australian Cultural Studies (ELACS), which is compulsory and choose either 3 or 4 other subjects from:

Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE)
Required by Australian students seeking university entrance.
Students study 5 or 6 subjects. They choose either English, or English as a Second Language (ESL) and a minimum of 4 other subjects with at least one from each of the Humanities and Mathematics/Sciences areas.

The Middle School: Years 7, 8 and 9
The focus is on consolidating previous learning and gaining a broad-based general education with emphasis on the development of strong literacy and numeracy skills. Students study courses from 8 learning areas.

MC Online
MC Online is an outstanding webbased information system. It includes students’ school reports, timetables, policy documents, subject information and interactive learning material and is easily accessed by parents.
Preparation for Secondary Studies (PSS)
This course prepares students for studies at Murdoch College. It includes general and academic English, with a focus on study skills and computer literacy. Students experience secondary school life though organised interaction with other College students.
Extensive student support services
These include academic and non-academic support, predeparture information package, airport reception, orientation, and accommodation placement.

Students and parents who wish to package secondary education with university studies can do so easily.
