“This course combines the best of business and IT at the same time. The classes are updated to keep up with trends occurring in the IT environment which makes it relevant to the current IT industry climate and competitive in comparison to other universities offering similar courses.

“Business Information Systems has taught me a lot about how communications are conducted in the work place and it has shown me that IT is not just about desktops and laptops. I’ve learned about the inside workings of complex systems which will give me an edge in my future career.

“Monash has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual straight from high school and it has allowed me to expand my horizons by meeting people from all around the world. Being one of the largest campuses in Australia has shown me the magnitude of one organisation in its local environment as well as its international community.

“My advice for students considering studying IT at Monash is to have a great time and do not be confined to the classroom and books! Australia has a great history and heritage – get out and enjoy this. Take advantage of your time here and learn as much as you can from your peers and teachers. “
