Meridian International Hotel School, one of Australia’s premier hotel schools, is an accredited institution with approval to deliver a range of internationally respected and recognised qualifications – Certificate III and Certificate IV in Hospitality and Diploma of Hospitality Management with majors in Operations, Patisserie or Commercial Cookery.

Graduates of the Diploma of Hospitality Management are qualified to work in most hospitality areas including management roles such as: Restaurant Manager; Bar Manager; Event Manager; Pastry Cook; and Chef.

Strong Industry Links and Industry Placement

Students are provided with hands-on experience working in our cafés, restaurants and bars with industry standard equipment prior to finding work in the industry. The Industry Placement Service (IPO) assists students to find employment in the hospitality industry. The IPO assists with creation and preparation of employment profiles and portfolios, writing cover letters, preparing job applications, developing interview skills and finding employment. Students can ensure guaranteed work placement of 900 hours by registering with the Guaranteed Work Placement Program. Additional fees and conditions apply.

Fast Track

There are five terms and five intakes a year to allow students to fast-track their studies. The School educates students in all the academic and practical disciplines needed to succeed in the international hospitality industry and provides students with a tertiary pathway and credit transfer opportunities to universities in Australia.
