Hi, my name is Hannes and I’m originally from Austria, however, I see myself already as an Australian, because I’ve spent the last 14 months in this amazing country.

I started my journey last April (2006) in Sydney. I was living and studying in Manly. In January 2007 I arrived in Perth and became a student at Language Links (the best language college I’ve ever attended) I’m currently completing an IELTS preparation course + Cambridge CPE preparation.

I picked Language Links because the college has a great reputation in Europe among students for highly skilled teachers and staff members, its lively and friendly atmosphere and great management (I can agree with that!)

The college is located in the city in a beautiful colonial style building and is fully equipped with all necessary materials students needs including Student Common Room, study rooms and games room with table tennis etc.

The number of students in each class is small which makes it easier for the teachers to concentrate on each student’s individual needs. The college staff is always there if students have any kind of problems. It’s like a little family (studying with friends) which makes studying a lot easier.

I’ve already completed my CAE preparation course here which I passed successfully with the help of the LL staff and my teacher (Natalie). With these courses I have improved my English skills in the areas such as reading, writing, listening and speaking. I’m more than satisfied with the college and my improvement, I’m glad that I came to Perth and especially to Language Links.

Furthermore, I would like to tell you a little bit about Perth which is a very beautiful city. The town is very lively with plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs and pubs to enjoy. Also, a great way to relax is to visit one of the stunning beaches Perth has to offer and not to forget the famous Rottnest Island ( only 20 minutes by ferry ) an isolated Island with crystal clear water and lots to explore and discover… I could go on and on…

Now, back to me… I could fulfil a dream of mine which is to improve my English, which gives me a great benefit back in my home country Austria (both with work and further studies) but also countless opportunities to experience life!
