La Lingua Language School

La Lingua Language School, with its sister school Speak College, offers high-quality language conversation courses in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Established in 1995, La Lingua was awarded the Australian Ethnic Business Council’s Best Small Business Award in 2002. In 2000, Speak College was established to offer student-visa ELICOS courses, accredited by the National English language teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).

All students are professionally assessed and placed in classes best suited to their level, ranging from beginner to advanced. Language courses are based on the communicative method, aimed at getting students to immediately learn and use language skills, which are practically relevant to their targeted language environment. Our courses teach fun, useful, and natural language, helping learners improve their confidence in communicating with native speakers. This is essential to improving their chances of success in study, business, travel, and life!
Small classes
At La Lingua and Speak, only between 3 and 10 students are accepted in most classes, giving students as much opportunity as possible to speak and use their target language in a friendly, fun, welcoming environment. Each student is able to receive individual attention from their teacher, which means students are able to learn more, faster!
