INSEARCH is the pathway provider to UTS, preparing you for both undergraduate and postgraduate university study in a range of

disciplines. INSEARCH offers Diploma courses which allow you to enter into the equivalent of the second year of study at UTS.
INSEARCH offers diploma courses leading to UTS Bachelor’s degrees in the areas of:

• Science

INSEARCH provides English language training for students wishing to improve their spoken, written, and academic English skills. INSEARCH English offers the following courses:

• Direct Entry English Program (DEEP)
  This higher level academic English course provides successful students with the English level required for direct entry into UTS courses without having to take the IELTS exam.
  

• Academic English Pathway (AEP)
  Leading to DEEP and providing students with academic English skills.
  

• IELTS Preparation
  Preparing you for IELTS at any level.
  

• General English
  This course prepares you for the Academic English Pathway (AEP)
  

The main UTS campus, the City campus, and INSEARCH are located in the centre of the city of Sydney, close to the commercial hub and Sydney’s main train station, Central Railway Station. Most UTS courses are offered at the City campus and students are ideally placed to take advantage of being in the centre of a cosmopolitan and dynamic city. The Kuring-gai campus is approximately 20 minutes by public transport from the City campus, nestled in the bushland of Kuring-gai Chase National Park. All campuses offer a safe and friendly campus life and excellent facilities and student services, including English language support, learning assistance centres, student and career counselling, health and housing services ( www.housing.uts.edu.au ), sporting facilities, a peer support network, and student orientation.

Admission Requirements

Students wishing to undertake undergraduate study at UTS generally require a qualification equivalent to an Australian year 12 qualification. UTS accepts results from a variety of matriculation exams, however for students who do not hold such qualifications the equivalent of one year full time study at an Australian tertiary institution is required. Students who successfully complete a recognised pathway program are also eligible to apply. If students do not meet entry requirements they may consider studying a UTS pathway course through Insearch UTS.
Applicants for postgraduate courses are generally required to hold a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s degree with a competitive result.

The minimal admission requirement for entry into INSEARCH diploma courses is completion of Senior High School.
