Founded in 1998, EIBT was the first institution in South Australia to provide the Certificate IV-Diploma pathway with articulation into year 2 (or equivalent) of university for international students.

We offer university level Diploma programs in Media and Communication, Business, and Computing and Information Technology, which are equivalent to year one of a university Bachelor degree. You are guaranteed entry into second year of an appropriate Bachelor degree at Flinders University, The University of Adelaide or University of South Australia upon successful completion of your EIBT Diploma.

Flinders University

Flinders University is situated 20 minutes south of Adelaide’s city centre in a safe, attractive location. The University offers you a wide range of programs that reflect your needs, and you will work with academic staff members who are leaders in their fields.

While there continues to be a strong focus on regular direct contact between staff and students, many programs use new information and communication technologies to supplement face-to-face teaching and provide more flexible options. The Student Learning Centre provides study support and skills development to complement the teaching provided by academic staff. The University puts great emphasis on producing graduates who are ready to step into the workplace. About one-third of Flinders’ students undertake work experience or practicum placements as part of their study program.

The University of Adelaide

With over 19,000 students, including around 3,500 international students from 88 countries, The University of Adelaide is associated with four Nobel prize laureates and many Rhodes scholars.

University of South Australia

Established in 1991, University of South Australia (UniSA) has quickly grown to become the fifth largest university in Australia. With a student population of over 32,000, UniSA continues to affirm its status as a modern and progressive university through its ability to recognise and adopt future innovations in education, training and research. UniSA is part of the Australian Technology Network (ATN), a powerful coalition of five leading Australian universities which, together, teach more than 137,000 students (20% of the Australian university population) including around 26,000 international students.

Supporting you while you study

IBT Education scholarships and family bursary

As EIBT is part of the IBT Education group, you may be eligible for an IBT Education scholarship or family bursary. The IBT Education group offers six full scholarships and 60 partial (50%) scholarships for university level Diploma programs or first year of Bachelor degree programs at Curtin Sydney per year. The group also offers family bursaries to immediate family members who study at our colleges.

We will arrange your Homestay or accommodation at the International Student Residence or in private hostel, or assist you in providing information about private house/flat rental.
