Locations

ECU is located in the vibrant, sophisticated city of Perth, Western Australia – the closest major Australian city to Asia, Africa and Europe. Perth is well known as being friendly, safe and relaxed, but yet offers all the cosmopolitan attractions of a large international city.

The University has three metropolitan campuses in Joondalup, Mount Lawley and Churchlands and a regional campus in Bunbury, a city 200kms south of Perth.

All campuses offer a wide range of study and recreational facilities and a variety of services.

Student Support

ECU is committed to quality service, and recognises the unique transition process of all international students. The International Student Support team are available to assist students, and run some fantastic support programs including a comprehensive and award winning orientation program.

Other support services include arrival reception and temporary accommodation placement, International Student Advisers, Learning Skills Advisers, Careers Advisory Service, Student Counselling, Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Service and there are a number of student associations, including the International Students Council.

Facilities

ECU campuses offer the latest in computing equipment, software and facilities. In addition, each campus has a modern library and bookshop, IBM computer laboratories, cafes, banking facilities and health and medical services. Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses operate world-class sporting and recreation facilities offering state-of-the-art health and fitness centres.

Pathways

ECU offers a number of flexible pathways to assist students who do not meet the University entrance requirements for direct entry. These include Diploma programs which offer credit transfer into 2nd year university. These are taught by the Perth Institute of Business & Technology (PIBT), located on our Churchlands campus.

If you do not meet ECU’s English language entry requirements, the PIBT- International English Centre, also located on our Churchlands campus, offers a broad range of English programs. The Centre offers students direct study pathways to ECU.
