CIC is the preferred Pathway to Curtin University of Technology and is located on Curtin’s Bentley campus in Perth, Western Australia. Since our inception in 2000, we have served the needs of a diverse range of students with our flexible entry requirements.

We offer university level Diploma programs in Built Environment, Commerce, Design, Engineering, Information Technology, Mass Communication, and Health and Physical Sciences. These Diploma programs are equivalent to year one of the Bachelor degree programs at Curtin University and you are guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor degree upon successful completion of your Diploma.

Supporting you while you study
IBT Education scholarships and family bursary
As CIC is part of the IBT Education group, you may be eligible for an IBT Education scholarship or family bursary. The IBT Education group offers six full scholarships and 60 partial (50%) scholarships for university level Diploma programs or first year of Bachelor degree programs at Curtin Sydney per year. The group also offers family bursaries to immediate family members who study at our colleges.
Access to University facilities and services
Your classes will be conducted on the main campus of Curtin University of Technology and you are welcome to join in most aspects of University life, as well as have access to University cafes, library, bookshop and other facilities.
Airport Pick Up and Transfer
If you are an international student arriving for the first time, we will meet you at the airport, free of charge, and transfer you to your accommodation. Bookings are essential.
Accommodation
We will assist you to find the most appropriate Homestay or off-campus accommodation available to suit your requirements.
Orientation
We provide you with an orientation program which provides crucial information and advice to assist you in adjusting to the living and learning environment at CIC. To help you settle in, we offer you free workshops on Culture, English, Mathematics and Computing during orientation week.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
As an international student, you are required to maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) at all times while studying in Australia. OSHC helps minimise the costs of medical expenses incurred while you are in Australia. Through CIC’s preferred provider OHSC Worldcare, you will have access to online help, telephone support, legal advice and assistance towards payment of covered medical bills.
