Founded in 1987, Bond — Australia’s first private, not for profit, independent university — is located on Queensland’s Gold Coast, a vibrant city set between the picturesque mountains of a rich hinterland and some of Australia’s finest surfing beaches.
We emphasise instruction in small groups by highly-qualified staff committed to quality in teaching. Our smaller classes enable students to receive more individualised instruction and personal assistance with their work. Smaller student numbers provide more access to facilities for individual students.
And by undertaking three-semesters-per-year instead of the usual two, students complete their degree studies twelve months or more before their colleagues from other universities, thereby gaining a vital advantage in the ultra-competitive careers market.

Our programs
Bond offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law, Business, Technology & Sustainable Development, Humanities & Social Sciences and Health Sciences & Medicine.
For international students who need to improve their English before entering a degree program, there is also the fully accredited on-campus Bond University English Language Institute (BUELI), which offers a range of ELICOS courses. Bond University also offer a Foundation Program, Bond College, which provides direct entry into the University and two full University credits.

Our aim is to deliver Bond students an educational experience that is Australian in character but international in perspective.
