Courses

ACNM Naturopathy

Health Science courses are offered at bachelor degree, advanced diploma, diploma and certificate levels ranging in length from one to four years full-time. External study is also available for students unable to travel to Australia.

Students can choose from a large range of courses, majoring in Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Beauty Therapy, Counselling, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Massage, Musculoskeletal Therapy, Naturopathy, Nutrition, Oriental Massage, Reflexology or Remedial Therapies.

Many courses at the College are the first of their kind in Australia. The Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) is the only degree course in Musculoskeletal Therapy available in Australia.

Students can transfer from one campus to another, even mid-year, as all courses are uniform.

Courses incorporate theoretical and practical aspects of natural health care to ensure the highest calibre of graduate.

Students complete their education at the college-based professional clinics where they treat public clients under supervision from qualified natural medicine practitioners. The busy modern clinics currently treat over 1,000 members of the public each week.

Facilities

The College provides students with world-class facilities, including the largest and most comprehensive natural medicine borrowing libraries in Australia, air conditioned modern lecture rooms, computers and state-of-the-art clinics.

Locations

The Brisbane Campus is a peaceful leafy two hectares, two kilometres from Brisbane’s central business district. It has ample parking and is close to public transport.

The Melbourne Campus is located in the heart of the city close to public transport and Melbourne’s famous shopping and restaurant districts.

The Perth campus is located on the perimeter of Perth’s central business district, close to public transport and only one kilometre from the city centre.

The Gold Coast Campus is situated in the heart of Southport’s central business district overlooking the Broadwater and the Gold Coast’s beautiful beaches.

Student Support

ACNM Classroom

Student Services is responsible for the care of international students and with all aspects of their welfare, including career advice, study skills counselling, academic issues, and advice on accommodation, health insurance, Visa and Passport matters.

College of Natural Beauty

The College of Natural Beauty is located on the same campus as the Australian College of Natural Medicine in Brisbane. Established in 1992, it offers students a unique combination of beauty therapy training and studies in natural medicine.

The Diploma of Beauty Therapy, a twelve month course full-time, includes studies in Aromatherapy, Nutrition and Massage as well as comprehensive training in beauty treatments such as Manicure, Pedicure, Facials, Waxing, Tinting and Make-up.

Academic Year

The academic year consists of two semesters: Semester One from March to June, and Semester Two from August to November. Students can start their studies in either Semester.
