Who is UTS:INSEARCH?
INSEARCH is a pathway provider to the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). INSEARCH has been educating students for over twenty years, offering a range of English and diploma courses and now on behalf of UTS, UTS Foundation Studies.
The majority of INSEARCH diploma courses provide up to 48 credit points of advanced standing (equivalent to one year of study at UTS). INSEARCH offers pathways to UTS in the areas of: architecture, business, communication, design, education, engineering, information technology, law, nursing and science.
INSEARCH prepares you for university and is a stepping stone to a successful career.
The UTS Foundation Studies program meets the requirements for Foundation Programs which have been registered on CRICOS for delivery in Australia to overseas students providing an academic preparation for seeking entry to first year undergraduate study or its equivalent.

What is UTS Foundation Studies?
Offered on behalf of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and delivered by INSEARCH, UTS Foundation Studies is a performance-based pathway to UTS undergraduate degree programs and INSEARCH higher education diplomas. Designed for students as an alternative to Australian Year 12, UTS Foundation Studies prepares students for undergraduate study in Australia by focusing on knowledge, skills and approaches to learning that help first year undergraduate students succeed in their studies.
UTS Foundation Studies is offered as an eight (accelerated) or 12-month program (standard). Students can choose from nine different streams: architecture, arts and social sciences, business, design, education, health sciences, information technology, law or physical sciences. Each stream contains two core subjects, Academic English and Digital Literacies, and three subjects related to the discipline of the
stream.

Pathways to INSEARCH diplomas
Students who successfully complete the UTS Foundation Studies program with the required GPA (Grade Point Average) and grade in Academic English are guaranteed a place in the INSEARCH higher education diploma that corresponds to their stream of study.
Pathways to UTS
International students who successfully complete the UTS Foundation Studies program with the required GPA (Grade Point Average) and grade in Academic English are guaranteed a place in the first year of an undergraduate bachelor degree at UTS.
