About Us
The Sydney Business School offers courses designed to help you achieve your career goals. Our mission is to educate tomorrow's leaders to succeed in the globally competitive environment. We take our mission seriously by ensuring the knowledge and skills you gain in your course are relevant to the real world business environment you enter.
We operate from two main campuses. The campus in Circular Quay is at the upmarket end of Sydney's central business district. It overlooks two iconic Australian landmarks: the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Innovation campus in Wollongong is 80km south of Sydney. It is surrounded by cutting edge research centres and companies and walking distance to beautiful beaches.
A faculty of the University of Wollongong (UOW), the Sydney Business School is ranked in the top 200 business schools in the world by Quacquarelli Symonds Limited (QS). The ranking places us in the top 3 MBA providers in Australia and 13th in the Asia Pacific region. Our MBA currently holds a four-star rating with the Graduate Management Association of Australia and our Master of Science (Logistics) was recognised in 2011 as best in supply chain and logistics education and training by the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA).
Internationally, UOW is ranked in the top two per cent of universities in the world by the 2012 Times Higher Education and QS World Universities rankings and holds a maximum five star rating in the QS World University Rankings 2012. Nationally, 2012 marked the thirteenth year in a row that UOW has scored five stars in the category of 'Getting a Job' by The Good Universities Guide for 2013. UOW is also first in Australia for Educational Experience and Graduate Outcomes (Australian Good Universities Guide 2013), the only university in Australia to score a maximum 30 stars in the two categories.
