About Us
UWSCollege is wholly owned by UWS and is the preferred pathway provider to UWS. UWSCollege offers English language, University Foundation Studies and Diploma Programs preparing students for entry to university study in a range of disciplines.
Courses
English language programs - fully accredited courses that give you the confidence and communication skills you need to meet the challenges of university study. These include communicating in English (general English), academic English for tertiary studies, advanced academic English skills and many more. Through the successes of our students, the English language program has established a national and international reputation for excellence. We are members of English Australia (EA) and University English Centres Australia (UECA) and all our English programs are accredited with the National ELT Accreditation Scheme Limited (NEAS) Australia.
University Foundation Studies Programs - designed for students who need to build up a set of academic study and subject skills before undertaking a university degree. After successfully completing a University Foundation Studies Program and meeting the entry requirements, students are guaranteed entry into first year of a UWS undergraduate degree. Students can also opt for a diploma course at the College, which leads straight into the second year of their UWS degree. The University Foundation Studies Program offers streams in arts, humanities and education; business and commerce; information technology and computing; nursing; and science and engineering.
Diploma programs - offer students the opportunity to undertake a pathway into a university degree through the UWSCollege diploma programs. These courses are designed for students who have missed direct entry to university, providing them with the knowledge and academic skills they will require to complete their degree at UWS. Students who successfully complete a diploma course enter into the second year of their undergraduate study at UWS.
The following areas of study are available: business and commerce; engineering; construction management; science; health science; social science; and information and communications technology.

Additionally, smaller class sizes make it easy for you to focus on your studies, while you get to know other students and your teachers. This personal, relaxed atmosphere helps our staff meet your individual needs on a daily basis. Like its parent institution, UWSCollege operates across a number of campuses in Greater Western Sydney. English language programs are offered from the UWS Westmead campus. University foundation studies and diploma programs are available at the Nirimba Education Precinct at Quakers Hill.
