Undergraduate courses
All fields of study that UWA currently offers will continue to be available within the new course structure in addition to a number of exciting new majors. This two-tiered structure builds on the practices of leading universities around the world.

The new undergraduate degrees are:

  • bachelor of arts
  • bachelor of commerce

  • bachelor of philosophy (honours).

Each undergraduate degree is structured to offer breadth as well as depth of study, enabling students to sample a range of study subjects and keep their options open for future study and work.

Professional postgraduate qualifications
Students who choose to pursue a professional qualification - in architecture, audiology, dentistry, education, engineering, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, podiatric medicine, psychology or social work - will need to complete a postgraduate degree (masters or doctorate) after finishing their bachelor degree.
UWA continues to offer a wide range of postgraduate coursework and research programs for graduates wishing to build on their undergraduate experience.
