About Us

UTS offers career-relevant education across a diverse range of traditional and emerging fields. Combining learning with professional practice maximises students' chances of reaching their career potential, making UTS graduates highly employable.

Recently awarded five stars in the new QS Star rating system, UTS is internationally recognised for its high performance in research, employability, teaching and infrastructure.

The social and cultural diversity of our students, staff and partners is another key strength of UTS. Of 32,500 students, more than 7800 are international students from 120 countries. This diversity creates a vibrant and rich learning environment that exposes students to a range of points of view and values.

Future students can also look forward to a revitalised campus, including the newly completed multi-purpose sports hall with indoor sports court, a gym, a dance studio, and tutorial and change rooms; additional on-campus accommodation for 720 students; and great study spaces.

Great city location
UTS' main campus is a convenient fiveminute walk to Sydney's major public transport station - Central Station - and neighbours a diverse array of restaurants, cafes and pubs. The Harbour Bridge and Opera House are only a ten-minute bus ride away, and even more enticing are Sydney's famous beaches, Bondi and Coogee, which are handily located less than half an hour from campus.
