The University of Western Australia Business School is one of the premier business schools in the Asia Pacific region. About Us

The UWA Business School is the largest faculty at The University of Western Australia, and has been offering economics and business education since 1913. It is home to nearly 6,000 students from over 60 countries, and strives to provide quality education and research which is both practical and relevant to industry.

The Facts

  • We are the only business school in Western Australia to currently hold accreditation from EQUIS, the European Quality Improvement System.
  • The UWA Business School MBA is ranked #1 in Western Australia and #5 in Australia (AFR Boss MBA Rankings 2009).
  • Between 2005 and 2009, academic staff produced 515 scholarly articles in refereed journals, 73 books and 139 book chapters, and 450 papers at national and international conferences.

Student Services

The UWA Business School building is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, lecture theatres and case study rooms. The collaborative learning environment brings together students, staff, alumni and the business community.

There are computer labs, wireless access and on-site IT support to meet students' study needs, as well as an on-site cafe, prayer room, courtyards, and common room equipped with modern kitchen and computing facilities.
