Tasmanian Polytechnic (formerly TAFE Tasmania)

Australia's picturesque island state is a great study destination. Tasmanians enjoy a mild, temperate climate in a peaceful setting, with ready links to the Australian mainland. Low cost living, competitive fees, excellent facilities and personal attention in small classes will all add value to your learning at the Tasmanian Polytechnic.

About Us

We are Tasmania's leading vocational education and training provider, and have multiple campuses across the state. The Tasmanian Polytechnic is funded and administered by the state government, which constantly invests in new infrastructure including a new AUD$1.77 million electrotechnology training centre and a new AUD$4 million eco-friendly Tourism and Hospitality training centre.

Most international students study in either the capital city of Hobart or in Launceston, the largest city in the north. Both offer all the modern facilities and services you need, with the added benefit of easy access to Tasmania's unique natural environment.

Student Services

English language support is available through the Tasmanian Polytechnic, with solutions tailored to fit your needs. A full range of support services is offered by both teachers and our International Student Advisers.
