Courses
Bachelor of Audio Production:
This audio production degree program provides students with the invaluable practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for work in the audio, entertainment and music industries.
Students are given extensive access to SAE Institute's audio studios, receiving expert tuition on industry standard equipment and learning about the entire recording, mixing, mastering and production process as well as other relevant music knowledge.
Bachelor of Film Production:
The film production degree program explores all the creative and technical elements of filmmaking, with an emphasis on developing your practical skills in directing, producing and editing.
Throughout the intensive two-year course you will gain proficiency in all facets of the digital filmmaking and production process, learning within an innovative and hands-on environment that boosts your creative confidence and artistic independence.

Bachelor of Audio Production
Every day is a new learning experience in SAE Byron Bay. The ratio of international students to local students is fairly high and I have made some amazing friends from every other country on the planet! There is so much exposure to various cultures and everyone comes to SAE Byron Bay with the sole intent of learning the intricacies of the art of audio engineering. I used to be an introvert and a very quiet individual before I came to SAE. The group assignments as well as the possibility to get virtually unlimited studio time made me go out there and get in touch with musicians in the area. So personally, it has made me a lot more confident and relaxed when I speak to people. On top of that, my fellow students here have been very positive and helpful not only towards the course, but towards audio engineering as a whole. The facilities here are unmatchable, with the SSL 9000 K desk being the highlight of the institute.
