Pathways
Different levels of study at RMIT mean you can explore more than one way of getting the qualification you want. Pathways provide opportunities for students to complete one course to gain entry into higher-level program with or without exemptions. Subject to meeting entry requirements, students can articulate from diploma programs into a bachelor degree and obtain study credit.
RMIT International Industry Experience and Research Program (RIIERP)
Through RIIERP, students have been provided with opportunities to work overseas with some of the world's most influential companies, including Airbus, EADS, Bentley Motors, the Siemens Group, IBM, Nestle, Robert Bosch, Volkswagen and the Rolls-Royce Group in both North America and Europe.

Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace)
I love travelling and thoroughly enjoy learning new things. In the second year of my Aerospace Engineering, I travelled to China to study at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). It has always been a dream of mine to visit China, and in doing so I had to opportunity to work and build connections with people from a range of backgrounds who share the same interests. As aerospace is such a diverse and fast paced industry, I knew I could benefit a lot from the exchange program that RMIT and NUAA offer. The highlight of my exchange experience would be building an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). We were required to build a medium size remote control plane from scratch. I got to design, calculate, draw, cut, build, test and fly my own UAV! RMIT is considered one of the best places to study aerospace engineering. It has many connections with relevant companies and different institutes worldwide. These networks give you opportunities to study abroad and to find interesting work after you graduate. I'm now looking forward to doing my overseas internship in the United States. I am on the committee for the Aerospace Students Association (AESA) and an active member of RMIT racing car team. These clubs give me the opportunity to connect with people with similar interests, and to gain more knowledge in my field. They are also a lot of fun!
