QUT INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE (QUTIC) is an integral part of Queensland University of Technology and offers English language and academic pathway programs to assist international students to meet the entry requirements for university degree programs, as well as improve their English for personal, professional or academic purposes.

Courses
Foundation program
QUTIC's Foundation program provides an excellent introduction to university life and is designed for students to meet the academic and English requirements for a university undergraduate award program.
- available as one, two or three semesters depending on the students' entry level
- available to Year 11 or 12 students who meet the academic and English requirements
- students who complete the foundation program and meet the faculty Grade Point Average requirements are guaranteed a place in the first year of the relevant QUT degree program
- QUTIC's foundation graduates enjoy a very high placement rate into QUT undergraduate courses.
University diploma programs in business, information technology and creative industries:
- two semesters of study
- successful students can gain up to one year's credit for the related QUT degree program.
English programs
QUTIC's intensive English language programs are designed to improve students' language skills for professional, personal or academic purposes. The College offers:
- general English
- EAP (English for academic purposes) / EAP plus
- tailored English and academic study tours
- English for Business
- IELTS preparation program
- Cambridge first certificate in English preparation course.
Academic English programs are designed to improve students' academic English, prepare students for independent study and familiarise them with an Australian academic setting.
University Certificate in Tertiary Preparation
This is a one semester program designed for academically qualified students who have not met the English language and/or prerequisite requirements for a QUT degree program.
Postgraduate pathway programs in business and information technology
Designed for academically qualified students who do not meet the English language requirements for a range of postgraduate business and information technology programs.
Study units from the chosen masters program at the same time as communication studies at QUT International College.

Diploma of Creative Industries, Bachelor of Mass Communication
Throughout my Diploma program, I learnt how to write academic essays and reports in preparation for my bachelor studies. In my bachelor program, students are required to know how to write academically so it was such a relief and so useful to have already learnt these skills in my Diploma program. The support services at QUT International College also assisted me in my studies in the Diploma of Creative Industries. I used the subject consultation times to get comments from my teachers on how to improve my assignments. The workshops offered by the Language and Learning Advisors were useful as I learned how to approach certain tasks in my subjects, such as how to write a questionnaire. The tutorials were also great as I could ask questions and discuss anything I didn't understand from the diploma lectures.
