Student Services
QUT's International Student Services (ISS) has experienced staff and support options to help you settle in and get the most out of your university experience. Our services include accommodation assistance, language and learning advice, airport reception, workshops and seminars, university orientation and recreational activities.
QUT provides employment assistance and free advice on career planning, and is the only university in Australia with an International Career Counsellor that works exclusively with international students and employers. Services include career counselling, resume and job application checking services, CareerHub, the International Work Placement Scheme and the Career Mentor Scheme.

QUT International College (QUTIC) is an integral part of the university and offers English language, university diploma, foundation and pathway programs to prepare international students for entry into Australian university degree programs.
The QUT IELTS Test Centre, located at QUTIC at the Kelvin Grove campus, offers both General Training and Academic modules. It is open to internal QUT students, as well as candidates external to the university.
