Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment: Major in Animation
Qantm's strong links with the animation and games industries result in programs that are industry-focused and cutting-edge in their content. Our animation program focuses on key areas of knowledge that are current in the industry and include: the study of drawing, 2-D animation, 3-D modeling, lighting, texturing, rigging and animation techniques as well as special effects.
Bachelor of Creative Media: Major in Graphic Design
The main objective of this program is to create a high level of design competency in print and screen based software and covers: design communication, typography, page layout, computer illustration, reprographics, cartooning, image manipulation, web design, 2-D animation, pre-press and print.
Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment: Major in Games Design
The program will give students essential insight into all areas critical to become leaders in the games design industry. In depth design theory will be complemented with extensive practical work in the areas of art, scripting, testing, prototyping and the psychology of game play.
Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment: Major in Games Programming
As the cornerstone of any games production team, games programmers code the complex interactions that leave players spellbound. The course focuses on object-oriented programming, mathematics for 3-D games, C++, artificial intelligence, game level design and rapid applications development.
Bachelor of Creative Media: Major in Interactive Media
Students undertaking this program of study will learn to design and develop interactive content for a range of platforms including the internet, mobile phones such as the iPhone, CD-Rom, DVD and touchscreen. Key features of the course include: multimedia development, graphic design, interface design, interaction design for internet and broadcast media, scriptwriting, storyboarding, 2-D and 3-D animation, video and sound editing, development and programming on industry standard software such as: CSS, HTML, XHTML, Action script 2 for mobile devices, Action script 3, FLEX, MYSQL and PHP for dynamic websites, also form part of the course.

I think the thing that attracted me to Qantm the most was having a degree in just 2 years. I also liked the courses that they taught according to the course structure. One of Qantm?s best aspects is the atmosphere being created by the students; the passionate and hard working students really make it enjoyable to study because they help you push your work. One of the main skills I learned at Qantm was pushing myself with every single work I delivered. The lectures and tutorials aren't enough to get you a good mark and good work, you really need to go in your own time and expand from what you've been taught otherwise you have no hope. I'm happy I learned that mentality at college because it applies greatly at work. You always need to be learning, at work and outside of work. Work hard, don't give up and push yourself. If you come with the mentality that animation is easy you will be very surprised. Do it for the love of it and try and get the best result.
