About Us
Monash University is Australia's largest university and a member of Australia's Group of Eight universities. It is ranked in the top 1% of the world's universities by the Times Higher Education Supplement (2011-2012). In a recent study published in The New York Times, more than 200 CEOs from the world's most successful companies rated Monash in the top 50 of world universities from which to hire graduates (20 October 2011).

I am very glad to have chosen Monash University to study law. At the end of Year 12, I was contemplating either choosing commerce or commerce/law. It was quite a difficult decision because I knew that it would change my future life in Australia. My first impression of Monash was how large the Clayton campus was. The university provides a comfortable environment for students, and when I didn't have a class, I spent most of my time studying in the Law Library or catching up with my friends in the Campus Centre. I have met many people and made a few friends, including a few international students. I could tell that many international students enjoy their lives in Australia. I very much enjoy my lectures and tutorials. The lecturers and tutors I have met so far were inspiring, intelligent and were always ready to help students in need. I am pleased to be one of the many international students to study at Monash.
