Locations
- La Trobe University delivers courses to international students at three campuses across Victoria - in Melbourne (Bundoora), Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga. All campuses are diverse, strong communities with excellent accommodation choices.
- Melbourne (Bundoora): This is La Trobe University's largest campus and one of the most attractive university campuses in Australia. The campus covers 330 hectares (approximately 500 acres) of stunning parkland with waterways and a wildlife sanctuary. Travel to central Melbourne takes about 20-30 minutes by bus or car and 50 minutes by tram.
- Bendigo: This is the university's second largest campus. It is located on 33 hectares of attractive bushland, 150km (93 miles) from Melbourne, and lies close to the Bendigo city centre. The small campus makes it easy for students to find their way around, to get to know people and feel part of the university community.
- Albury-Wodonga: This is a major regional campus, located 350km (218 miles) north-east of Melbourne. Studying at a campus of a smaller size offers international students more personalised attention and a safe, supportive environment to develop English language proficiency and academic study.

Bachelor of Physical and Outdoor Education
Undergraduate student Allan Tang Kah Keong is passionate about the outdoor education component of his course at La Trobe University. He especially likes the fact he went to the Alps for a field trip, a cross-country skiing weekend in Victoria. "The one thing that La Trobe heralds for all its courses is the practical aspect. It puts so much focus on the practical aspect that with the required theoretical knowledge, you simply just get good at what you do." Allan says he chose the course because La Trobe was the only University to offer a combination of outdoor and physical learning. Allan is studying the course at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe. Allan says the Bendigo campus community is very accommodating, so much so that he brought along his mother to an after-party of the program's Outdoor Education Ball. Allan says he had a very smooth adjustment to studying at university in Australia where he completed high school. "I simply could not wait to get back to meeting people from all walks of life in a tertiary setting. I just gave everything a 'fair-go' - I embraced the Australian culture and forced myself to make friends in places where not many would normally do so."
