First-class facilities
The Institute features a range of specialist training facilities and capabilities, which reflect its historical links, including the award-winning Automotive Centre of Excellence, the Aviation Industry Training Centre - the only one of its kind in Victoria - and the cutting-edge Centre of Fashion, set in Melbourne's beating fashion and retail heart.
We deliver a wide range of courses to students at eight specialist campuses in and around metro and northern Melbourne.
The Automotive Centre of Excellence in the Docklands, Richmond campus, which includes the Centre of Fashion and the new CBD-based English Language Centre, are the Institute's metro campuses, with the remaining campuses in Essendon, Coburg, Moreland, Broadmeadows and Craigieburn.
All campuses are easily accessible by public transport and most feature ample free parking for students.

"Kangan Institute has a good reputation here in Australia, with many different student facilities such as computers and the library, also providing a wide range of different courses - my favourite, of course, was automotive technology. I enjoyed my study because I gained a lot of skills and practice in the field of automotive technology. The teachers provide you with knowledge that you can use in practice at the school and at the workplace. I met outstanding teachers who were very friendly and patient, they not only helped me develop my course skills, but also motivated and encouraged me to achieve my set goals. The most interesting thing I learnt in the course was how to use the computer scanner to diagnose problems within the vehicle. It was great because most of our learning was hands-on and that really helped us understand what we were doing. I am very glad that I chose to study automotive technology at Kangan Institute. It has truly helped me establish direction and skills on to my career pathway. Now that I have finished my course, I have found a job working in my preferred trade. I now work full time at the local Mitsubishi dealer and am continuing to further my expertise and knowledge of the automotive industry."
