ECU's Faculty of Business and Law has one of the largest business schools in Perth, Western Australia and offers an extensive range of internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in fundamental business disciplines as well as contemporary business areas.
Perth Graduate School of Business (PGSB)
PGSB is the Faculty of Business and Law's dedicated postgraduate school, located close to the Perth CBD in Mount Lawley. Renowned for its innovative approach to education, the teaching philosophy embraces both critical thinking and practical skills, equipping our students with the knowledge and experience to extend their careers. The school also maintains strong industry links, engaging industry, individual, community and government organisations to ensure courses are current and that graduates have the skills employers are seeking.
Increased flexibility
There are also a range of supportive and flexible study options available, including online, part-time and full-time on-campus options. PGSB has made more postgraduate business course units available online, making it ideal for people with little time and busy careers.
Student Services
ECU offers a range of services for all students, including on-campus accommodation and off-campus housing assistance, health services, student counselling services, disability services, a multi-faith chaplaincy service, sport teams and fitness centres, 24/7 security, a library, computer e-labs, clubs and societies, cafes, taverns, bookshops, ATMs, childcare centres, a hairdresser and an optometrist.

Courses
PGSB offers a range of graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and masters programs in the areas of accounting, banking, business and technology, business law, career development, electronic commerce, enterprise systems, event management, finance, hospitality management, human resource management, information systems, innovation and enterprise, international business, leadership, management, marketing, planning, project management, sport management and tourism management.
PGSB also offers two streams of MBA study: MBA and MBA (International). The MBA program is highly regarded and is designed to equip students with the contemporary management knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a modern, global business environment. The course covers key business principles, with the option to specialise in subjects of particular interest or career relevance.
Our Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) course is also highly regarded, providing students whose first degree is in an area other than accounting with the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in this fundamental business discipline.
Most postgraduate courses at ECU are available to anyone with a bachelor degree. We also highly value professional experience, and many coursework courses, including the MBA, are available to people who have significant professional experience appropriate to the discipline but do not possess a bachelor degree or equivalent.
