About Us

Deakin Business School provides the university's major postgraduate business programs including MBA courses and an Executive Development program. School staff conduct innovative research in a range of fields and are actively involved with the business community.
Deakin Business School welcomes students from around the world who study on-campus in Melbourne, or by distance learning from over 20 different countries. Web-based communication tools link students and teachers in a rich learning environment wherever they study.

Program features
A distinctive feature of the Deakin MBA program is the option of selecting residential units. These intensive one-week sessions are held at the Deakin Management Centre in Geelong. This experience, enhanced with group activities and industry experts, includes action learning and professional networking. By including one or more residential units as a complement to on or off campus study, you can enrich and diversify your study program.
You can complete the Deakin MBA over three trimesters of full time study or accelerate your program to finish in 12 months by including residential units and the summer period (Trimester 3).
Students have the opportunity to undertake international study tours to Asia, Europe and India. Studying the unit materials interspersed with visits to companies and other business organisations in the host countries, allows students to develop a powerful appreciation of all aspects of business in a global environment.
