About Us
CBS is comprised of seven academic schools offering specialised undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs: the Schools of Accounting, Business Law and Taxation, Economics and Finance, Information Systems, Management, Marketing and the Graduate School of Business.
Curtin Graduate School of Business
Like other Graduate Schools in Australia, the Curtin Graduate School of Business (CGSB) is located away from the main campus and in Perth's central business district, allowing you to interact with local businesses and create strong networks with industry professionals throughout your degree. The CGSB is home to the internationally accredited MBA (Master of Business Administration), the MBL (Master of Business Leadership) and higher degree by research programs including the DBA (Doctor of Business Administration).

At CBS you will have access to a range of support services including a dedicated Postgraduate Student Services Centre, a Communication Skills Centre offering individual and group support, access to 24 hour computer laboratories and a career services program.

Our MBA is unique in Western Australia as it is ranked in the Economist Intelligence Unit Top 100 and is accredited by the respected UK-based Association of Master of Business Administration (AMBA). Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management
I completed a Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Curtin Business School (CBS) at the end of 2009, after already completing my Diplom in BWL (Business Administration) in Germany. I wanted to upgrade my CV with international experience before starting out in my career so I decided to study a Masters degree with a focus on logistics. I chose to do it in Australia because you can finish your Masters degree in 1 to 1.5 years and it is more cost effective to complete it here than in other countries. There are several reasons why I chose to study at Curtin, the first being that I liked the units offered for my course the best. CBS has ranked very well in recent years in comparison to other Australian universities and was also able to award me recognition of prior learning for three units because I majored in logistics in Germany. In my opinion what greatly facilitates settling in here is the offer of the housing service, to drive new international students around to have a look at several housing opportunities. This is how I found my current home. Curtin also has great recreational offers, like its own gym, tennis, golf, sailing, surfing courses, and you can also learn how to do a Swedish massage or learn how to make a great cocktail or coffee. I can only encourage everybody to participate in such courses, because it is a great way to meet new people. For me it was a slight shock when I came into my first lecture and half the students were much older than me and were all working full-time next to studying. But now a think it is a great advantage because you can gain an insight into the real work life and the problems they encounter on a daily basis. Most of the lecturers are also employed in the industry ensuring they are really in step with actual practice. All in all I can say that I have really enjoyed my stay here and not only because of the great weather that we nearly always have!
