The CQUniversity MBA distinction
CQUniversity offers a full-semester academic year, which means you can finish your MBA in just three years studying part time, or two years full time. Our MBA provides a holistic view of business dynamics in a competitive international environment ensuring you can understand the 'big' picture. It also offers the opportunity to focus on a particular area of interest.
At CQUniversity, you take eight core courses, one general elective and then three specialisations. You can design an MBA that's right for you, developing expertise in areas such as financial management, human resources management, management accounting or marketing.
And it's convenient. You can study by distance education or choose to study on campus in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast or Rockhampton in Central Queensland, where you can access the 'real Australia' - the bush and beach.

If you don't have an undergraduate degree but have five years relevant management experience, you may be eligible to enrol in the Graduate Certificate in Management before progressing to the MBA.
You can also have the option of completing additional research-related courses, subject to approval. The CQUniversity MBA is a straightforward, unpretentious, quality degree, with relevance to the real world of work.

MBA admission criteria:
- an undergraduate degree or its equivalent
- Overall Academic IELTS band score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.5)
- paper-based score 550 including a score (computer-based score of 213) of 4.5 or more in the test of written English (TWE)
- an overall internet-based score of 79 including a score of 20 or more in the writing section.
