CQUniversity's Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed to enhance the opportunities for graduates to obtain positions involving major managerial responsibilities in commerce, industry and government. Its broad aim is to provide a program that will enable its graduates to apply contemporary management and business knowledge and perspectives in an interdisciplinary manner to the dynamic environments in which they are likely to find themselves as managers.

Student Services

You'll never feel alone here. Our students come from all over the world and you will make lifelong friends as you make Australia your second home. We pride ourselves in helping you all along your learning journey. Specialist academic support is provided by the Learning Skills Unit (LSU). This is a free service for you. There are also dedicated English programs available at some campuses. You can access a range of employment and career-oriented services through the Training, Employment and Career Coaching (TECC) service. TECC can also advise you on how to obtain work experience in your area of study that will give you an advantage in the job market when you graduate.

Courses

Within CQUniversity's Master of Business Administration (MBA) you will study eight core courses focused on a range of business areas such as marketing management, strategy development and initiatives, human resources management and economics for business. In addition to these core subjects, you will either complete three courses in one area of specialisation or study a range of subjects leading to a nonspecialisation.

The areas of specialisation include financial management, human resources management, management accounting, and marketing. You will complete your studies with one elective course that can be selected from any area in the university.

Entry requirements

a bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college, together with at least two years of work experience in a management capacity, or equivalent; or
an honours degree in business, management, commerce or economics from an Australian university, or equivalent; or
a CQUniversity graduate diploma of management or equivalent.

Career outcomes
On completing an MBA, you will be qualified to undertake major managerial positions in industry, commerce or government in a range of business areas
and operations, including accounting, economics, finance, human resources management, operations management and organisational behaviour.
