CIT is a large government institution with over 28,000 enrolments annually and over 1500 international students from more than 86 countries.

Student Services
The International Services Unit (ISU) is staffed by personnel who are well equipped to assist students with any questions, problems or issues that they may have or experience while studying at CIT, such as stress, fitting in and adjusting to their new lifestyle.
CIT offers a range of accommodation options to suit almost every need, with on-campus, off-campus and homestay accommodation!

CIT is currently offering Elementary English and Certificates I-IV in English Language Skills at a discounted cost. Study from an elementary to an advanced level for just AUD$265 per week (save $95 per week).

Study pathways to reputable Australian universities
Certain CIT courses have formal credit transfer arrangements or 'pathways' with a variety of Australian universities, meaning that students can receive recognition or 'credit' for studies completed at CIT and put this towards a degree at university. These study pathways give students the opportunity to reach their academic goals faster! CIT works closely with the top universities across Australia, with strong pathway arrangements with the Australian National University, the University of Canberra and Charles Sturt University.

I learnt so much more here than in my home country. The flexible study approach allows a good balance between academics and my social lifestyle. CIT has a large student population from different socio-economic and political backgrounds. It is great to meet so many diverse people from so many different countries and see their differences respected. I have made many deep friendships and etched wonderful memories in my mind during my time here at CIT in Canberra, which is a stunning environment to live and study in. The International Services Unit is the first point of contact for assistance and advice. Their fantastic Student Advisors have a sound understanding of student's issues and needs - particularly those affecting international students. They provide students with necessary information and tell you about accessing student support services such as; the Learning Centre and Library; Student Services Hub; Canteens/Cafe; the CIT Student Association for all the fun stuff outside of study, as well as many more to help you and make you feel at home.
