Aviation Australia graduates are highly valued within Australia and meet the academic requirements of CASA, European Aviation Safety Agency and Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department's internationally recognised licences. These courses are particularly suited to self sponsored international students and airline cadets. Our diplomas in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Certificate II in Aviation (Flight Operations) and English courses are designed to meet specific industry requirements and equip you with the skills to confidently establish your aviation career.

English language programs
These English courses are designed to equip you with the English language skills and confidence to achieve your goals. Whether you need to improve your communication skills and knowledge of aviation related terminology to continue studies at Aviation Australia, or to continue on your own career path, these courses are designed especially for you.
English for General Purposes (CRICOS code: 066310J) is designed for international students:
- with all levels of English from beginner to advanced
- wanting to develop English skills through a communicative program
- who are required to improve their English language ability in order to obtain a career in the aviation industry
- who want to study English for personal gain, e.g. travelling, employment purposes, as a hobby, or to continue studies in other fields of interest.
English for Academic Purposes (CRICOS code: 063311G) is designed for international students:
- with an advanced level of English
- who want to prepare for entry into tertiary studies.
Class sizes range from 12 to 15 students per class (no larger than 18 students).
Course Outcome: On successful completion of your selected course/s you will receive a Certificate of Attainment stating:
- the level of achievement
- academic progress
- record of attendance.
Students who successfully complete English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Level 2 are able to transfer directly across to other courses offered at Aviation Australia.
Course Duration: This is a full-time course consisting of 20 hours structured theory and five hours computer based training per week. There are eight levels of English-each level is five weeks in duration.
Entry requirements:
- You must supply fully documented evidence in support of academic and English language proficiency.
- You must hold recognised educational qualifications or their equivalent.
- Australian Year 10 or equivalent graduates will be considered.
- You must satisfy student visa requirements set by the Australian Government.
