About Us

Established in 1949, UNSW is ranked 85th in the world in the 2012-2013 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and is the first Australian university to receive the prestigious QS five star plus rating in the areas of graduate employability, teaching, learning environment, facilities, culture, internationalisation, innovation, engagement and research.

Located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and built on 38 hectares of modern landscaping, the main UNSW campus at Kensington has a dynamic educational and communal environment. It is a 20-minute bus ride from the city centre and a 25-minute walk from the beautiful Coogee Beach.

Study Abroad students can study for one or two semesters at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, then transfer credits back to their studies at home. Study Abroad students enrol in classes alongside full-degree students in fully integrated UNSW classes.
