About the Diploma of Conveyancing

This qualification is part of the Financial Services Training Package. It is designed to reflect the role of persons carrying out conveyancing work in a range of environments, such as in a small business practice or as a team member in a larger organisation.

Subjects

Core: Make decisions in a legal context; Take instructions in relation to a transaction; Read and interpret a legal document and provide advice; Analyse and interpret legal requirements for a transaction; Prepare legal documents; Finalise the conveyancing transaction; Establish and manage a trust account; Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry; Apply the principles of contract law. Elective: Identify and conduct searches; Manage recruitment selection and induction processes; Apply the principles of the law of torts; plus more.
